Scalloped Valance in Flourish Mariner Blue Floral Damask

This modern-day floral damask design was inspired by William Morris (1834–1896), an imaginative designer who transformed Victorian interiors with his distinctive elegant floral designs and vivid use of color. The original design was hand-painted using a fine outlined gouache technique with a contrasting solid-colored ground. The unique floral design has been given a more contemporary appearance with the use of vibrant color. It is printed on an off-white linen blend fabric that enhances the finer details of the lively floral design and adds a lovely texture.

* Valance is 52" wide and 17" long. It is lined with cotton sateen.
* Length is measured from the top of the rod pocket to the bottom edge.
* 3" rod pocket, 2" header.

Use alone or as a filler for the Empress Valance.
