Basketry is an updated small scale â basket weaveâ matelasse design, inspired by the ongoing trend of Modern Farmhouse looks and the need for more natural fibers in the home. This highly textured matelasse is constructed of 100% cotton and has a homespun feeling to it. The cotton structure gives the fabric a natural look and a softer finished hand. The basket weave design of the matelasse makes it very dimensional and visually appealing.
